Really, criticism can only come from guests, i.e., from the outside. But you cannot “establish” guests, only invite them. Whether they then come or not is up to them.
Jan Verwoert

Window Online presents a self-evident platform, ONLINE WINDOW, to promote Window's distribution of guest content according to existing frameworks, networks and peer exchange. ONLINE WINDOW addresses the nature of speed in the distribution of content in online space as a potentially limited-time, trending-centric event that makes Window active according to its functioning as a hype-space for the duration of the show.
PEOPLE will upload a new mp3 track every day during the exhibition equipped with free-trial versions of music software and samples from Sony's ACID CDs, Loopmaster series and Pirate Bay. ONLINE WINDOW will refresh outwards, especially in Christopher L. G. Hill's seminal hyperlink erotic novella/poem first published in print in 2010, and Virginia Overell's slow-drying studio-based film The Texture of Information. Ashlin Raymond & Mark Wundercastle’s film uses stock footage software, adding after effects, a dance track and computerised vocal narrations of teen drinking stories involving Diesel Bourbon & Cola.

As a group of disparate works - from artists for which the internet permeates making in both studio and online practices - ONLINE WINDOW divergently considers what an online gallery space is and how it (effectively or not) manages and frames work in an online context.
