This month at Window Cellulite Rose accentuates and distorts boundaries of intimacy. The materials she brings into play include ready-made situations from the everyday; public and personal spaces, desires for interaction, and the social behaviours learned and practiced by individuals.


martyn: i like the idea of chaperoning people from the library to the door and vice versa it expresses your desire to engage with people in the activity for which they are using the space, but it's kind of ridiculous and desperate at the same time


me: it's all that people do in there just walk from one door to another so any ideas in which i inhibit that process seem really unfair


martyn: i think it would be nice because it would be like you are 'accompanying' people across a dead zone in public space as if they might need your protection or comfort or something, but they probably wouldn't even notice you i like the idea that they don't even realize you're beside them its like, you are an artist, and your power is spatial conceptual thought which they don't possess, but these powers can protect them in this space which is an ideological vacuum...
