Expatriate Consolation Relations is a Melbourne based project working with Window online to curate a pop-up exhibition in Melbourne, while at the same time maintaining an ongoing online presence. The show is an opportunity to strengthen cross-Tasman relationships within art practice, serving also as an interrogation and reflection of the curators' positions as "expatriates." The online component of the project, viewed through the Window website, will comprise a regularly updated blog that documents and exposes the curatorial process, culminating in a live feed from the closing event in Melbourne.
